About the Art for Good Project
The Art for Good Project was founded in 2017 on the belief that art has the power to inspire change, strengthen communities, and support meaningful causes. This initiative not only brings art into the heart of philanthropy but also ensures that artists are recognized and compensated for their invaluable creative contributions.
Each year, the Carmody Foundation invites Arizona artists to apply for its grant program, where a jury carefully selects recipients to create original works of art. These artworks are then donated to nonprofit organizations across the Valley, where they are auctioned to generate vital funds for essential community services.
By bridging the gap between the arts and the private sector, the Art for Good Project fosters collaboration, creativity, and impact—turning artistic expression into a force for real, tangible change.
